Holiday Highlight T4 2015

In my holidays I went to see pixels the movie it was great it had Adam Sandler in it the story was about the old spaceie games like Pacman Donkey Kong and others the pixels did not like it so the pixels came alive attacked a military base it's like there lava goops going around the city they burn stuff.

The military base was pretty much destroyed and to destroy the pixels you need a special gun it will make the  pixels break down so when Adam Sandler was a boy.

he used to be super good at Pacman and Donkey Kong he used to be in the world championships he was battling the world champ but know one knew in his glasses he had a Pacman speed cheat code.

And I did a lot of other things as well.

Nesian Fusion Writing

On the 18th of September Nesian Fusion performed at the assembly with some great moves!

One Pacific tee-shirts Ailao sticks, dancing styles and spinning them. Rowana & Mele were spinning their Ailao with concentration. It’s hard to spin the Ailao you need concentration.They never gave up and tried their best, even if they dropped their Ailao sometimes. My favorite part was when they did the under legs while spinning as well.

The first performance was my favorite because the song was cool. It was Beau Monga and when they danced to it was very good and they were demonstrating some great moves, never give up “ No to Fear”  was the message.

Cross Country Recount

On one super sunny hot exciting day, everyone was waiting for the exciting

Cross Country to begin. I was excited and I got ready for the run. We walked down to the courts in our team colours and sat down patiently on the concrete waiting for the moment.

Mrs Nua came and took us to the line  and I was so excited. Then Mr Burt slammed the wooden crackers! We sprinted off, super fast! I was running hardcore around our big field and on to the Pt England Reserve, around it and back up to the school

I was sprinting to the finish, but my feet were numb on the bark across the park! I got to the finish line and I felt like I was about to DIE! I could not breathe and my guts were deadly sore and when I finished it I felt proud of myself because I came 9th!.

Holiday Recount Term 3 2015

In the holidays I went to Rocket Ropes i was so excited! with my mates and we had so much fun. This is about zip lines and when I go down I'm like a fireball! I go so fast that you hit the end hard but it has paddings. And also you climb as well, as you climb it gets wobbly because it's like an obstacle course.

When we got there the demonstrator showed us how to set it up we had so much

fun the ropes are so big you have obstacle course of 3 levels they get higher and higher the gear that we used was like the rock climbers gear as we did it we started to feel like that we were going to fall off the boards of we were shaking! but it was fun though and at the last obstacle it was so high! i finished it then we headed back home and had wonderful dinner.

This term we have been learning about tinkering tools and toys .

Hello and welcome to my fantastic game animation. I hope you enjoy this amazing game!   

Our task was to make a game animation so we don’t get bored at wet lunchtimes. My game is called the Evil Dawn Of The Beasts.

My hero is Exodus and he is the best hero in town. He is located in the woods of China. My hero can defeat anyone but sometimes his powers go flat. He has a sword which was made by legends back in 1920.

Exodus’ mission is to save the town from hordes of monsters and terrorists. The monsters have bins that explode so I jump over them. You must press the up key to move and attack, if you don’t you will die.

Here we go level 1 watch out there is a terrorist sword activate!  the terrorist is down that was a close one. Oh no bin bombs jump jump! Phew you made it. Oh no the is a another bad monster lets defeat him!

You have beaten all the monsters congrats the town is safe.

Creative Paragraphs- Man In Space

This week we have been learning to rework our writing to make our paragraphs interesting for our audience. We started by writing a creative sentence about this picture. As a class we will choose Nate's sentence because we liked it the best and wrote a paragraph each to follow the chosen sentence. Here is the beginning of my story that starts with Nate's sentence.

A spaceman bravely strikes out into the icy milkyway.The milky way will take me to desert in egypt!.

As he floats out the ship has collapsed milky way.”This is a disaster! we will have to get the ship out as soon as possible”!.

The space man is going to the milky way portal he will have to the ship! there's his friends in there! he can not find the ship “WATCH OUT!!” aliens attacking He pulls out his ray gun shoot shoot! “aghh i think they are trying to capture my friends i can’t let this happen”.

Ive been here for days now and i still have not found the ship yet. He saw a dome hmm i wonder what’s in there hopefully its the ship as he goes he sees a ship OMG there it is but there were 7 aliens alright if i have to do then i will bang bang!!! shot shoot WOOOO! yea that was fun suddenly as he opens the his the door friends run out of the cove his friends say there is a portal code chip we need the chip to get out of here where is the location he says.

The location is in the obsidian pyramid the chip has been locked in there for over 1000 years but we need ammunition right? she said I've got that covered so we went to the pyramid there were only 3 of us so it was hard we cleared out the 30 guards now we have to defeat the boss! NO ONE WILL DEFEAT ME! we will see about that! the boss is very wounded oh no ammo we have to use our blade the boss is down grab the chip and let’s get out of here! we will have to fix the ship 2 hours later the ship is fixed! now we must smash the chip go now! crack goes chip now drive into the portal and let’s go back to earth!

Anzac Recount

Today on Friday 24th April at assembly we commemorate anzac day every year on April 25th and at assembly we saw some footage of the real war and how it was there were 8,000 men that fighted for us most of them died about half of them and our class went to assembly.

Those men were very brave and most people would be proud of what they had done and after assembly we went to see some crosses of the people died the war had been going on for 4 years the soldiers thought that the war would end very fast but it didn’t they thought it would be easy but it wasn’t about half of them died

They had defense bunkers as well and they must of felt a little scared in the end they must of felt better that they won but most of them died some lived but most wounded.

Holiday Recount

In my Exciting holidays! I went up north with my mum nana and uncle  my mum surprised me for the holiday.

We got there at 3.00 o'clock I saw my cousins and i was so happy!

Me and my family went to the marae and I also got to meet my other cousins and we were playing with the rugby ball and we had lunch and it was nice

Then we came back to the house and i was playing with my baby cousin then i was playing on my iPod, all night.

Also the next morning we had breakfast it was “very nice” & we went to Kfc & the town was very small!.

And also went to the park and had lunch with my cousin and feeding the ducks.

Then we had to leave after 5 days over there also we had to wake up at 4.00 o'Clock in the morning to go.

After I didn’t want to go home. It was the coolest holiday! I liked everything and I hope for next holiday that I can go back.

Easter Story.

The Water Wardens

We have been learning about marine reserves and how to protect our fish.  I learnt that you cannot fish in marine reserves because it is protected by the government. You can't camp or by a house there either as it will get destroyed. This is a poster I have made to teach people about not feeding the fish.

Camp Recount 2015

I had such a great camp! I was excited that Ajani was my tent buddy. We were so happy. Everyday we got up at 7.00 O'clock. We had divine tasting breakfast, like spaghetti, cereal, milo and toast.

My team was the True crew. We worked awesomely as a team and this was on our field at Pt England School, this was last week on Wednesday, Also at 3.30 Everyday We went to the swimming pools to have a swim and a shower after our camp team leaders were Lomio!, Presayus! , Further on our camp Teacher was “Mr Baxindine”.

My favorite activities were Kayaking and the “Kill ZoNe” The teachers call it Top Town Mr Jacobsen called it Kill ZoNe.  You put down a board and you walk on it and try to not fall off you need to get to your base as quick as possible then you throw water bombs and we did

  

Hauhake Harakeke

We have been reading about harakeke. Harakeke is the Maori word for flax. We found out that the flax has different strands. There are the tupuna (grandparents), matua (father), whaea (mother) and baby (rito). You are allowed to cut the grandparents but if you cut the baby, father or mother the flax will die.

My Holiday

In my  holiday with my family i went to sylvia park at 3.00pm.  i went to the cinemas  

and saw Big Hero 6 Also my aunt brought Nike Running shoes and i had  Popcorn.

And a new SKATEBOARD TRICK its called varial Kickflip. And at christmas i got $250

Dollars and i brought COD Advanced Warfare Also i got a nerf gun its called a

STAMPEDE cS-6 and i played Black ops 2. The reason i went is because my aunty said lets go to sylvia park for your christmas because she came back from doha

So at Sylvia Park me and my aunty were walking along the path then we saw a

massage spot they had so much massage things we sat on the chair and it was so comfortable i wanted to buy one but it was $500!. Big hero 6 was sad at the end because he had to let baymax go in a portal to save professor callahans daughter but then he made another baymax but at the start they fighted with a guy in a kabuki mask and he killed his brother in the fire Tadashi.
